Wow Fell Behind

Let me catch up a little bit. Here is a little bit of what we been doing up to our first pictures of Santa Claus for 2011. Olivia is not a person that likes her picture taken all that much so sometimes it is a struggle to get that perfect picture. Being a scrapbooker it is gets hard we have a lot of pictures of the back of her head.

Bears Training Camp

How fun to see your favorite team back on the field again. We took a nice ride to Bourbonnais, IL. The weather wasn't too bad until they started actual practice and then the heat really started to crank up. So the only Bear we got close to was the mascot Staley. It still was a good day!!

3 years ago Today

3 years ago today I seen a sad little girl.
3 years ago today I was scared half to death.
3 years ago today I was 1/2 way around the world.
Today we couldn't be more happier. She is the love of our life! Can a 5 year old be your best friend? I couldnt tell you what life would be like if Olivia wasn't in it. She makes me laugh,she makes me cry, and she really makes me think what is so important in life. Happy forever Day Olivia we love you!!!

Golfing

Olivia's Grandma and Pa-Pa love to golf so they took Olivia out to hit some balls. Olivia did pretty good.

T-Ball

T-Ball is going great!! We had a very slow start due to the rain every Wednesday in the month of May. Olivia is the only girl on her team and doesn't care about that one bit.

Misc. Pictures of last few months

I thought I would post a few moments from the last couple of months. It has been a little stressful around here the last couple of months. This week Olivia is going to have her gallbladder, liver biopsy, and fix a little hernia. So we have been dealing with all of this since March and now the week has come. We are not looking forward to this but by Thursday it will be behind us. Then we can enjoy the rest of the summer.

The Magical Place

Last week we went to Disney World the magical place for kids!! Boy it was. The look on Olivia's face when she got to see Mickey was priceless. We went with friends Joe, Julie and Zach. We had such a good time. We also met friends of ours that live in Florida. We haven't seen them since we were all in China together. It was great to see them and their little girl Leah. All I know is Disney is such a magical place and we cannot wait to go back again.

Blizzard 2/2/11 (Olivia's 1st real big one)

Wow what a day we were out in the snow from 8am - 1pm shoveling, snowblowing, and even having some fun. We had about 2 feet of snow here in Paddock Lk, WI.

C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S is HERE

At the last moment our school added the rock stars of the school the 4K to there little sing-a-long at school. I am telling you that was the best present a parent could have. Watching your child walk into that gym and listening to her teacher and then singing there little song. I couldnt have asked for a better Christmas present. I just wish they gave us more time so that Norman could of seen it too. (Maybe next year)!! Enjoy the show!!!

Santa Claus

Wow what a difference another year makes. No tears at all this year and even talking to Santa. What was kind of funny was that when she seen Santa a couple of weeks ago she told him she wanted a Basketball hoop and Basketball. This weekend when we seen Santa in our town she says to me MaMa I am going to tell Santa about the pink car for my barbie. I already told him about the Basketball hoop. I said ok. I thought that was cute. Have a great Christmas and a great New Year!!!

Weekend of Trick or Treating and Auntie Irene

Auntie Irene came in for a halloween visit this weekend. We had a great time carving pumpkins, trick or treating and yes going on my first haunted hay ride. The haunted hay ride though not too much fun!

Olivia made the paper today!!

Olivia made the local newspaper today. She is sitting in the corner of the picture. Our school started there new 4K program this year!! She is having such a great time!!!

3rd Day is the Charm

Well we finally did it!!! After some mass confusion between the bus company. The bus got here on time and we finally got the picture. This was actually our 4th day of school picture. Thats ok it makes Olivia's scrapbook a little more exciting when we look back in the years to come. Olivia loves school and her new daycare. She talks about her teachers all night long. Olivia also talks about Grandma too. My mom works at the school and she gets to see her everyday. My mom is just lovin it.

4K here we come

Yesterday we went to the first of many open houses at our school last night. Not only was Olivia nervous but so was Mommy and Daddy. We went and met her teacher, Mrs. Fisher. We are so lucky to have her. Mrs. Fisher has adopted internationally. So she knows excactly what we are going thru and what Olivia needs. We looked around her classroom which has so much to offer these 4 year olds. Then we went on the big yellow bus. Olivia loved the ride. Now Wednesday is the big day!!! We are all nervous but cannot wait for a new exciting adventure.

Summer Fun

The last couple of weekends have been fun filled with our friends. Pics are from the State Fair, swimming party last weekend in Brookfield WI, and Coolwaters this weekend. Our fun days are coming to a end because all these public pools are closing next weekend. You know when the pools close in Wisconsin that summer is coming to a end.

Let the Fairs begin!!!

Fair season has officially started here in the state of Wisconsin. Today we went to the Racine County fair. It was great all rides were just a dollar!! It was really nice to be able to ride some of these rides with Olivia too.

4th of July and Bristol Progress Days 2010

We had a great week!! Spending time with Oma. That is Normans Mom. She came to visit from Rhode Island for a few days to celebrate the 4th and just spending time with Olivia. We also went to a parade today. This is our annual tradition. This was our first event we did together when we first came home from China. So now we try to do it every year. This year was kind of humid and hot but we got thru it. As long as that candy was coming Olivia was luvin it. She also was having a ball with all her buddies from Maries house. That is where she goes for daycare. Every year we see a change in her especially at this parade. The first year she just sat in her stroller, the second year she finally would pick up candy half way thru the parade, and this year she loved being around her friends and getting candy and waving yes waving at all the people in the parade. It was a very good day and week sorry it has to end and get back to real life again.
