Meeting new friends

Sunday we met some new friends along with some old friends. We get together every once in a while with other families that have adopted with Great Wall of China Agency. We have known some of these families since the very beginning. We had a larger group when we first started and it has gotten smaller over the years due to the wait. One family also after coming back from China decided to go to Ethiopia to extend there family even more. Here are a few pictures of our fun filled afternoon. The kids thought the merry-go-round was the best.

Not ready for the road yet

Well the Barbie Jeep came out today since it was so nice. Olivia won't be driving on the road just yet. She thinks she is on a ride at the amusement park so steering isn't really a option yet.

Fun weekend!!!

This past weekend we went to the dells. We actually were a actual tourist at the dells. We went with our friends Joe, Julie and Zach. We had a great suprise and received a upgrade to our room. It was a suite with a fireplace. Oliva and I just loved the whirlpool tub and had a bubble bath every morning. Olivia wasnt that adventurous as her friend Zach and wouldn't go down the slides alone, but, when she went with us she loved it. Maybe next year she will be more independent. We also went to build a bear to build well not a bear but a black lab and she named it Chyna after her Auntie Cindy and Uncle Shanes dog.

What a Christmas!!! What a difference a little child can make. Going to Christmas Eve mass to opening presents Christmas Day. We had so much fun!! Olivia didn't know what hit her. She had so much fun Christmas Eve opening ornaments. She would have been content with just that. But boy did she get the shock of her life when Christmas Day came and Santa left her a whole bunch of gifts. Then the presents sent by Auntie Irene and Oma and then we were off to Grandma and Pa-Pa's house. Oh boy toys and clothes oh my!!!! Then came Auntie Cindy and Uncle Shanes gift a jeep yes a jeep. With a working radio. She loved the radio. Auntie Cindy and Auntie Heather had to help her but she loved it. It was such a great Christmas just being around our family and our little girl it will be a Christmas I won't forget. Thanks to all our family for giving her everything and even more!!!!
