15 Months

15 Months and still counting. When we first started this process this is when we thought we would have our Baby China. We thought we were going to spend our Christmas in China. But here we are without our Baby China and who knows when we will have her. I really hope this is the last Christmas to be celebrated without her. Lets keep our fingers crossed....

4 more years

4 more years is what the rumors are saying!!! I will be 45 years old Norman will be 51... What sould we do??? Is the big question!!!! I feel our lives have been a stand still. Trying to save money for our little girl have been our focus for the past almost 2 years since we started this journey. 4 more years means we will again be voting for a different president, Marie will already be married ( that is a co-worker of mine) we keep joking that I will finally need a babysiter for her big day) NOT!!! and we will already have celebrated Normans 50 birthday!!!! My mom and dad will be 75 and 68. My mom will kill me that I posted her age.. What to do??? That is the most depressing question in our minds right now. I thought at this time last year we would of spent our last Christmas without a child in our family. It looks like we are just going to be the two of us forever and ever which isnt a bad thing but it would of been really nice to spend it with a little one and to see her grow and give her our values about life. Thats all for now.

14 and still Counting

This is when our agency told us we would be going to China. NOT!!! It is not the fault of our agency. We cannot blame them but it would be nice to blame someone so what do people do they blame the government. So that is what we are doing the Chinese Government. Thats all we can do. But the saying goes good things come to those who wait. And that is what we are doing waiting. and waiting and waiting. 14 months I hope they dont get our paperwork lost.
So what we are going to do is drown our sorrows tomorrow in the fantastic turkey dinner at the church.

Great Postcard

I seen this on a blog and it cracked me up. I wish we could send this to the Chinese Government. To speed things up. With the holidays around the corner this is going to be a depressing year but hopefully this will be our last without our Baby China!!!! I dont ask for prayers because I always feel someone needs them more than us, just wanting our baby home. But if every now and then just think of us and maybe that power will move China along.

This is not our nursery.. Just love the card.

CCAA has us in the palm of their hands

I will try to post this from time to time this is our lifeline to our Baby China. The reviewing is still what we are waiting for. This is when our dossier which is our paperwork is reviewed and this is a very crucial part of the adoption this is where they can say yes or no for our Baby China. That is why our agency is so strict on what our homestudy needs in our dossier. So hopefully if they do their job and we did ours we should be fine in this process. We still have a little wait as you can see by the date . That is why our lid is so important to us.
The second date is the date of those people with LID that received there child we need to speed this date up. I hope this puts a little more understanding on how this works.
